Valerie Jane Nogas, age 8

Miss Valerie Jane Nogas of 7 Lexington Street, Wethersfield, was born July 12, 1935 in Hartford, daughter of Brooklyn born Catherine (Vensas) and Polish born Joseph S. Nogas.  She was found dead with her grandmother, Katherine Vensas, at the circus grounds after the fire on July 6 and was buried at Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery in Bloomfield after services at Dillon's Funeral Home on Saturday, July 8.  Miss Nogas leaves her parents and no siblings.  

Body #1504 was identified as Valerie Nogas at the State Armory by her father, Joseph Nogas, on Thursday, July 6.  Valerie's estate was awarded $7,000 by the arbitration board.
