Stephen Boyajian, age 3

Stephen F. Boyajian of 379 Hillside Avenue, Hartford, was born August 12, 1940 in Hartford, son of Hartford-native Alice (Kirkorian) and Armenian-born Frederick K. Boyajian.  He was found injured at the circus grounds after the fire on July 6 and was taken to Municipal Hospital where he died later that evening.  His brother Frederick, Jr. and their mother Alice Boyajian were also victims of the fire, and all three were buried at Fairview Cemetery in West Hartford after services at the Talarski Funeral Home. 

Stephen is survived by his father Frederick and infant brother Norman.  The estate of Stephen Boyajian was awarded $6,500 by the arbitration board.
