Charlotte Caroline Mearman, age 7

Miss Charlotte Caroline Mearman, age 7, of 243 Franklin Avenue, Hartford, was born December 10, 1936 in Hartford, daughter of Hartford natives Edith L. (Anderson) and John H. Mearman.  She was found injured at the circus grounds after the fire on July 6 and was brought to Municipal Hospital where she died from her injuries later that day.  Miss Mearman was buried at Old Cemetery in Cromwell CT, after services at the Taylor & Modeen Funeral Home.  Charlotte leaves her parents, her paternal grandmother Mrs. Ida C. Mearman of Hartford, and her maternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Gustaf Anderson of East Hartford. 

The estate of Charlotte C. Mearman was awarded $7,000 by the arbitration board.
